Rebates and grants on energy work
When you post a job for energy-related work — like a heat pump, solar panels, insulation, or new windows — Blue Seal may show a "Rebates & grants you may qualify for" panel as you fill out the form.
These are government and utility programs that might help offset the cost of that kind of work in your province. The panel is informational only:
- We don't run these programs and can't confirm whether you qualify — eligibility, amounts, and deadlines are set by each program and change often.
- Each listing shows roughly what it offers, the key eligibility conditions, and when we last checked it — then links you to the official program page.
- Always confirm the current details and apply through that official link. Many programs require steps like a pre-retrofit energy assessment, specific certified equipment, or a registered contractor before work begins — so it's worth checking early.
If you don't see a panel, it just means we don't have an active program on file matching that trade and province. It doesn't mean none exists — it's always worth a quick look at your provincial and utility websites.
