The bell icon shows your in-app notifications — new messages, quote and application updates, and job status changes. Tap one to jump straight to the job it's about.
When you're not in the app, email is how we reach you. We'll email you about anything that needs your attention — a new message, a quote sent or accepted, an invoice sent or paid, a job status change, application updates, verification decisions, and job invites. (For a busy back-and-forth chat we send one "new message" email per lull, not one per line.) There's nothing to set up; just add Blue Seal to your contacts so our emails land in your inbox, not spam.
For instant, on-device alerts on those same updates, turn on push notifications — they reach you even when Blue Seal is closed. We'll offer to switch push on when you create your account and again when you come back until it's on for the device you're using; you stay in control and can toggle it any time per device from Account → Notifications. Your browser asks permission once. On iPhone, add Blue Seal to your home screen first (see "Install Blue Seal"), then enable push from inside the installed app. (We also use WhatsApp for a few time-critical events if you've added your phone number.)
